Sandi West joined the Mountaineer Athletic Club staff in April 2016 as the Director of Mountaineer Athletic Hospitality. In her current role, West oversees the premium seating and hospitality operation on Mountaineer Football game days.
West came to West Virginia from Miami, where she was the Events Planner for Athletic Alumni Programs. In that position, she assisted with planning and executing various varsity sport reunions, the annual First Pitch Baseball Banquet and the 2016 Celebration of Women’s Athletics.
Also at Miami, West served as a Football Operations Assistant from 2014-15, assisting with official visits, travel coordination and reimbursements for the coaching staff, as well as the execution of summer camps and clinics.
West previously worked as a Ticket Supervisor at IMG Tickets in Coral Gables from 2013-14 where she provided customer service to a number of different events across South Florida, including the Miami Open Tennis Tournament.
West received her bachelor’s degree in sport management from West Virginia University in 2012 and her master’s in sport administration from the University of Miami in 2014.
Graduate Assistant, Mountaineer Athletic Hospitality[email protected]
Amanda Howett joined the Mountaineer Athletic Hospitality staff in July 2018 as a Graduate Assistant. In her current role, she oversees FANGINEER recruitment, and FANGINEER staffing on Mountaineer Football game days.
Howett came to West Virginia from Slippery Rock University, where she completed her bachelor’s degree in sport management in May 2018. From January 2018 until graduation, Howett completed a full-time internship with Allegheny College. While at Allegheny, Howett oversaw all aspects of travel for 21 Varsity sports and assisted in the planning and execution of three USA Junior Olympic Volleyball Tournaments, and the Gator Golf Outing.
While enrolled at Slippery Rock, Howett worked with Athletic Communications where she assisted in all aspects of Rock Athletics media including live statistics, film, game day programs, and social media.
Howett is currently working toward her master’s degree in sport management at West Virginia University, where she is expected to graduate in May 2020.
